I do not think Google now gives high weight age to age of domination. Was the, Facebook, Digg, Technorati, etc, would not be a good SERP. Instead what I think is the popularity and traffic of the website that really counts. People always measure the popularity in terms of PR. This is once again the myth, because the Google Webmaster does not think so. I am of the opinion not to think too much PR. In a rapidly changing Google algorithms more inclined towards universal search, be hardover PR as a strong tool for measuring your website shows a thought obsolete.
Reiterate that the age of the domain, as a factor in placement is just a fabrication made by people who are in domain buying and selling business. To ensure that their activities will take place smoothly and there are many buyers and sellers, who have promoted this and has peopled the articles, blogs, etc by various websites that opinion misleading.
Some say that the age of the domain does not matter because Google believes that thisas a measuring instrument for the authentication of a website. Being too old for domain registration, higher value of confidence that Google assigns to that site to prevent spamming sites that are booked for a short period. This is propaganda, and unfortunately, many SEO companies have started to believe this.
I do not know about two years ago when Google was giving weight-age of child domain or not, but my observation says no. Google seems to have abandoned this in his algorithm.
I often hear that many argue that the SEOthe age of a domain has its impact on their ranking. This is not true – Seriously!
The line of thought here is watching Google domain registrations (they do) and using what they find to influence rankings (which probably yes.) Believe that Google believes the time your domain has been registered for a sign of how you are serious about your business. I mean many believe will rank better if you register the domain name for 4, 5 or even 10 years rather than for one year in atime.
They believe Google SEO emphasizes more on registrations because most search engine giant receives a shorter period of registration as a sign of a company that works with throw away domains. They think that spammers are registering domains and throws are not going to pay for the registration of more than a year, for which Google gives more credibility to those who do.
While I have no definitive proof that Google does not consider the length of domain registration as part of theiralgorithm, but I use my intuition to explain my point because it would be silly for them to take into consideration when it comes to determining the rankings.
As people behind the engine capacity to acquire more search algorithm to customize the algorithms, their ultimate goal is to help search engines to make choices the way people do. And I once again reiterate the fact that the search engine is going more semantic in recent days. Signs have already begun to appear.
Google notes only a fewfactors that are recommended for better SERP. SEO is not rocket science, rather it is an experiment and analysis. The whole paradigm of SEO in Web 1.0 (indexing institutional library would be seen as a search engine) is taking the move to Social Engine Optimization – SEO participation (community on the web), because the popularity of the horizontal search is down more than the search engines vertical. That's why Google, in order to display the search results impartially, he is going worldwide, including the popularity ofvertical results. And in these days we talk so much that Google is frequently changing its algorithm.
As mentioned above, SEO is an analysis and an experiment that is what works or what not on the basis of our understanding and verifying some general results. The analysis and experiment is quantitative. Ninety percent of the time, we use our common sense, statistics, experiments, analysis, and optimization of a website.
Indeed, we must ask whether the age of the domain is a good indicator of aquality of the site!
As a human being, everyone will be keen to know how long a company has done business over the years, rather than as a company is old. Not necessarily a pretty old company can make a good deal compared to a company with a relatively recent and vice versa. As a student of management I have seen how NIRM that was popular in the 80s and today is not popular. Is there anyone who buys a product just because it NIRM old gave us several substitutes new?
Today,Consumers are smart and intelligent. A consumer like me will be interested to know how companies have grown over the years and have expanded to meet the growing demand of customers. Applying this line, this is new content and new offerings. Consumers today are interested in word of mouth (WOM) recommendations could hear from friends, classmates, colleagues and relatives. For a website, this means positive customer reviews and bookmarking, recommendations. However, thesestill by PR from Google, despite the fact that it is losing its ground, just for personal satisfaction, to believe now that PR these days depends recommendation PR (People's what I call WOM).
How many times have you as a customer to you browsing through the registration of a company domain or age to ensure they own their domain for at least 3-5 years, you buy the product and services? I believe that none of the United States.
If not, then why should Google care?
Domainregistration is very cheap in those days. If I book a domain xyz.com for a period of 10 years to get rankings, Google will really care? SPAMMERS can not book the same thing?
True, people in general domain to book more time to do serious business so that they can not lose the domain name. People do not register for the positions of domination, but for their own convenience. Logix has booked its own domain for ranking purposes?
The registration of a domain for a longer period of time, becauseMany think that will help them improve their rankings stuff seems hard to digest.
If not convinced yet, reserve a domain for 10 years, is cheap nowadays. Search engine like Google to give a better start raking to your website? If so, try and courage for the good of the rankings!
